For an additional $50 per person, visitors could partake in a VIP tour, which included a one-hour reception following the walk. The reception, hosted by Holland Mayor Nathan Bocks, included a charcuterie tray, a wine tasting and dessert. The walking tours were another method used by festival organizers to promote social distancing during one the state's first large events in 2021. All participants were asked to wear masks and avoid attendance if they showed symptoms of illness. In previous years, festivalgoers could purchase tickets for one-hour trolley tours, which included Tulip Lanes, Kollen Park, Holland’s Historic District, Hope College, Centennial Park and Eighth Street.
