Article content A vandal decided to disarm a Sarnia war memorial, prying a copper rifle from the statue of a soldier that has stood atop the border city’s cenotaph for nearly a century. The rifle was removed from the back of the statue, which depicts a Canadian “Tommy,” a soldier in full uniform from the First World War, police said Wednesday.
