Wareham officials consider new police station on its own Wicked Local WAREHAM – With funding a question, officials are looking at a new police station’s construction on its own, without EMS and Wareham Dept. of Natural Resources’ offices. The Public Safety Complex Study Committee has been considering the multiple public safety agency approach in part because that was viewed as more likely to win state grant funding. A request for proposals is ready to go out on a feasibility study on that project. The committee voted Thursday to add an alternative to the RPF proposal for a new police station alone, at Town Administrator Derek Sullivan’s recommendation.
