Warrants: Corryton man stalked victims before shooting, kidnapping

SEYMOUR — A Corryton man is accused of shooting one person and pointing a gun at another outside the White Star Market, then kidnapping his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint before Sevier County Sheriff’s deputies caught up to him Tuesday evening.
The incident started at about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday when Shelton Travis Rosenbaum fired multiple shots into a car outside the popular convenience store. The gunfire struck 50-year-old Dwayne DeArmond in the back, according to arrest warrants.
Rosenbaum held a gun to the face of another passenger, Larissa Hunt, but didn't fire at her, the warrants said.
He then forced his ex-girlfriend, Crystal Gibson, who was the third passenger, back into the car and made her drive away from the store.
