BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - In this year’s class of finalist for Sportsline Player of the Year, we had three guys who played defense exclusively. On the other hand Zachary wide receiver Chris Hilton was the only Warrick Dunn Finalist who played only offense.
While Hilton didn’t have the eye-popping numbers you’d expect for a class 5-A First Team All-State performer, but he made plenty of eye-popping plays. Some of this two sport sprinting standout and four-star LSU signee limited stats probably had something to do with COVID cancellations and contact tracing.
