WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) â A street closure in Wausau that was originally scheduled to last multiple days has been reduced to one evening. According to Wausau Public Works and Utilities Director Eric Lindman the closure on Washington Street will now take place on only Tuesday evening. The closure was originally scheduled to last until Thursday evening. The new closure on Tuesday night will last from 7:30 p.m. to midnight on Washington Street between 1st and 5th Street. All utility work on the street will be conducted within that time frame.
