WATCH: Cooler Monday before warmth returns WATCH: Cooler Monday before warmth returns Share Updated: 5:10 AM EDT May 24, 2021 WATCH: Cooler Monday before warmth returns Share Updated: 5:10 AM EDT May 24, 2021 Hide Transcript Show Transcript after the warmth and humidity over the weekend, taking a little bit of a break as we start off the work week, a lot more comfortable with sunshine today, with temperatures mainly in the seventies across the region, will be looking for what looks like warmer temperatures seventies to near 80 tomorrow and then eighties and approaching 90 and a few southern locations Wednesday ahead of a cold front that will arrive later Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday evening. Fair skies out there for us, dropping all the way back to near the freezing mark in the north country early this morning and forties elsewhere. Looks like we'll jump quickly and anywhere from the mid sixties to lower seventies out there this afternoon with partly to mostly sunny skies. Seabreeze again at the coastline will make it cooler there than anywhere else by four or five o'clock this afternoon. Fair skies this evening not quite as chilly forties to lower fifties overnight, and it does look like we could see some valley fog otherwise southwesterly breeze on your Tuesday, pushing temperatures up into the seventies to a few lower eighties later in the day, there is a small chance of a shower in the north country on your Tuesday afternoon and then we get in a Wednesday in a frontal approach from the west. Doesn't look like it arrives until very late in the day or into Wednesday evening, but there could be a couple of scattered showers or storms along that front temperatures will likely be in the eighties to a few lower nineties, with dew points above 60 when that comes through and then eventually we start to cool off again will likely be in the seventies as we work our way through the day on thursday, with the cooler drier air slowly filtering in from morning afternoon and then very comfortable conditions heading toward the weekend with partly sunny skies on friday, there will be a disturbance passing just to our south later, friday afternoon or friday night. Otherwise, it does look like fair skies for most of the holiday weekend. Sixties to lower seventies with lower humidity levels. Coolest readings by four or five o'clock will be at the coastline. That is where your warmest readings will be by later tonight, with lows in the forties to lower fifties with fair skies, there's a look at your seven day forecast could be one or two stronger storms late in the day or into Wednesday evening. Otherwise again, you'll notice a little build up in warmth only to get more comfortable again by the end of the week.
