Right here westbound moving toward the schuylkill expressway, not seeing any delays. Same for eastbound toward 95. Also watching a crash at bala avenue. Drive times in the green and still normal. 95 into center city, a 14minute trip and 15 minutes on the southbound side from the schuylkill to 95. Speeds into the 60s on almost all of them. Back to you guys. 6 02 now. Now to a story developing in delaware. The shooting of a teenager sent Police Officers rushing to the scene. That teen is now fighting to survive. Matt delucia is live in new castle to tell us more about this investigation. Matt . Reporter that teen is in Critical Condition this hour at the hospital. And in the meantime, police are still trying to find the person who pulled the trigger. This happened around 10 00 last night on the 2 un 200 block of highland boulevard. Part of a development, homes along the block, but not any major roadways. Police are trying to figure out who fired the gun. They were talking with neighbors tieing to get information and leads to trying to get information and leads to track this person down. Weve been checking in throughout the night with new Castle Police to get details. They havent released too much more at this point. They of course are trying to learn more about this case, as well. New this morning, star gymnast Mikayla Maroney revealed that she endured areas of sexual abuse while following her olympic dream. Maroney is the latest woman inspired to share her story in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal. She says she was molested by the olympic team doctor, larry nasser, for years. She claims it started when she was 13 years old. The gymnast says he even attacked her before she won the gold and silver medals in london. In her twitter post, maroney says, for me, the scariest thing of my life happened when i was 15 years old. I had flown all day and night with the team to get to tokyo. Hed given me a sleeping pill for the flight. The next thing i know, i was all alone with him in his hotel room getting a treatment. I thought i was going to die that night. Nasser has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography. That happened back in july. Right now hes waiting to go on trial in three criminal cases alleging that he sexually molested nine girls. Hes pleaded not guilty to those accusation accusations. The me, too, Movement Began after actresses accused Harvey Weinstein of rape, assault, and Sexual Harassment. The movement encourages women to speak up if they are victims of harassment or sex assault. Since then, countless women across the country have posted me, too on their social media pages. The weinstein scandal has prompted actress Reese Witherspoon to talk about her own experiences. During the elle women in hollywood awards, the oscar winner said a director assaulted her when she was 16 years old. She did not name the director. Witherspoon said she regrets not speaking up the experience sooner. Expenn state football coach Jerry Sandusky says he deserves a new trial. Today around noon, well find out if a judge agrees with him. Sdausk says his lawyers did not adequately represent him when a jury convicted him back in 2012 of molesting ten boys. If sandusky does get a new trial, Court Observers suspect he will try to get released on bail. 16 inmates are responsible for killing a corrections officer during a riot in f february at the maximum security prison. The inmates are charged with murder in the death of lieutenant steven floyd. The Delaware Department of justice unsealed a total of 18 indictments yesterday. According to prosecutors, the inmates kidnapped floyd and several other prison workers in an attempt to demand better treatment. Nbc10 spoke to the wife of a corrections officer who tells us despite charges against the inmates and changes at the prison, shes still worried for her husbands safety. Theres been a couple of things that weve been hearing about the inmates wanting to do something similar again. I just tell him, just do what you do. My husband has been deployed overseas many times. He has a different perspective from a lot of ceos there. The office of Defense Services says it will provide representation for the nine inmates involved. Nine of the men indict read already convicted indicted are already convicted killers. Attorneys for lieutenant floyds family and the other prison workers taken hostage at the vaughn correctional facility have had no comment on the matter. Today students in south jersey will begin classes at a temporary location as school staff deals with a mold problem. Whitehall Elementary Students will report to Williamstown Middle School this morning. Administrators worked out a plan to accommodate the students. Faculty, staff, students, and local businesses donated money to help with supplies for the kids. Meantime, a Philadelphia School that has been dealing with its own mold problems will reopen today. Students at john b. Kelly elementary in germantown will return to class this morning. The school has been closed since thursday when traces of mold were found in the schools ventilation system. This morning, President Trump is backing away from his initial support of a Bipartisan Senate deal to save the federal subsidies that Keep Health Care premiums affordable for millions of americans. Hours after saying he liked the deal, the white house insisted that President Trump oppose says the plan but opposes the plan but still supports efforts to find solutions. The bipartisan deal would extend subsidies for two more years. In exchange, republicans want to give states flexibility to opt out of some coverage requirements under the Affordable Care act. Congress would have to approve the legislation. President trumps travel ban has been blocked a third time. Yesterday, a u. S. District judge in hawaii temporarily halted the latest version of the ban hours before it was set to take effect. The white house is calling the ruling dangerously flawed and says it undercuts the president s efforts to keep the American People safe. All eyes will be on wall street today. The dow industrial average closed at a record yesterday and topped 23,000 for the first time in its 121year history. [ bell ] [ cheers ] it was the 50th record close of the year for the dow. Experts say the rally is driven by economies across the globe picking up at the same time which is a rarity in the financial world. We are seeing a little bit of a slowdown on the westbound side approaching route 202. Again, thats the schuylkill expressways westbound side. Also watching out lower merion on montgomery avenue around bella avenue for a crash there. And also watching route 70 in cherry hill around haddonfield road. You see it moving through cherry hill.
