That would be delaware and south jersey. Look at the feelslike temperatures in the Lehigh Valley. Allentown, reading, lancaster, feels like 30s. You can expect that kind of wind and schil during the day in the rest of the area, too. Temperatures right now in the 40s, upper for philadelphia. The gusty winds bringing temperatures down. We still have breaking news. 95, the cameras around route 413. Moving through bristol heading on 95 in either direction, an issue. No traffic to move by. Theyre detouring traffic off now on the north and southbound sides. Overhead sign repair had a problem with one of the cranes. It was blocking all of the lanes in both directions. Now they have it detoured around. This is what were looking at. This chunk is being detoured around through bristol. 95 southbound, moving down 95 southbound, theyll divert you at 413. If youre coming 95 northbound, theyll divert you off around street road. Route 13 can get you by. Take state to 413, move along the line of 95 there. Or get off before then if youre heading northbound on to woodhaven and head to route 1. That will take you by there, as well. Watching this, of course, as long as its out there. Ill have updates and have another one in ten minutes. See you then. Thanks. Breaking overnight, the tax law overhaul bill takes another step closer to becoming law. Senate republicans passed the bill after midnight. The house will have to vote on it again today because senators made changes to comply with senate rules. Once approved, the bill will go to the president s desk for his signature. Well have more coming up at 5 30, plus details on how the changes could impact you. The hunt is on for the person who hit and killed a biker in bucks county. Pieces of the bike left spread across the root as police now comb the area looking for clues. Matt delucia joins us live from where this happened, route 193 and corson in bristol township. What do we know about the car thats involved here . Reporter police are looking for a silver mercedes. The scene is clear, but this is where it happened here along route 13 by corson. Fairly dark stretch of road. No word if that played a factor. Police want to find a car that kept on going. Take a look at what else police found. A decorative license plate that had an eagle emblem. That was found at the scene. They think it may have come from the car involved, a silver mercedes. You can see what the impact did. That bike was pretty much destroyed, and the bike rider was killed at the scene. The driver kept going. This happened before 8 00 last night. If you were around the area of route 13 and corson and saw something that might help with the investigation, at this point that car has not been found. Police say the mercedes, though, should have a lot of frontend damage. Live in bristol, matt delucia, nbc10 news. Talk about a frightening night at a chinese takeout restaurant. A gun fired shots right through the window of the restaurant hitting a 17yearold boy in the head. This morning hes in the hospital in critical condition. Six patrons inside tried to block the door to keep the shooter out. It happened just after 9 clinic in dickinson street 9 00 on dickinson street. Police are searching for him this morning. Theyre also looking for a killer who left an 85yearold man to die in West Philadelphia. This as were learning more about the victim whom friends tell us should not have been the target for murder. Family members confirm Willie Cooper is the man police found stabbed to death inside this row home on addison street. Cooper lived here his entire life. Thats according to his grandson who says its not too far from malcolm x park. Coopers friends, famili, and neighbors family, and neighbors are struggling to figure out how someone could have killed a man who they say would have given the shirt off his back to anyone in need. They want to catch him. When they do, i hope they rot. He never hurt anybody. The person that did this, i need to think why youd do it. What was the reason . He was too good of a person for you to stand for you to kill him. Cooper lived here alone. Police say there are signs of entry at the house, however theyre not sure if its forced entry or exit. Investigators have not recovered the weapon used in the killing. 5 06. Pennsylvania golf tom wolf is calling Governor Tom Wolf is calling for a senator to step down. Government obtains by the Associated Press showed the state paid a quarter of a Million Dollars in a settlement against state rep tom calderone. He represented the reading area for four decades. Another senator, dalen lynch, from Montgomery County says he will step back from his run for a seat in congress which includes a large portion of delaware county. This morning, an Elementary School in West Philadelphia will be back open after a water main break forced students and teachers out of the building yesterday. There are actually quite a few ups and downs. Looking ahead today into tomorrow, cool, not bitterly cold, but were not as nice as we were yesterday. We get very mild again on friday into saturday. And saturday, the mild air comes with rain that looks likely for the entire area because conditions are so mild. It will just be rain. Were a little cooler on sunday. It looks like that cooldown will continue into monday, christmas day. Theres where the question lies, could we see rain or maybe a rain snow mix. Model is spread, but its looking likely that we could see rain over parts of the area. Breaking it down hour by hour, neighborhood by neighborhood, well start with the 40s and continue only in the 40s. Were not going to warm up the way we did yesterday. Instead, mid 40s into the afternoon. In fact, right now, were little warmer, in the upper 40s in philly. I think that may dip some once winds shift northwest and stick throughout the afternoon. Low 40s in the afternoon, about the same in the Lehigh Valley. How about for delaware . Those mid 40s going to stay the same, too. We could see a few numbers approaching 50 over delaware or even in south jersey, over the shore, numbers approaching 52. Note its a mix of clouds and sun. No rain in the forecast. Youre not going to be able to do so in each direction. Heres the cameras at 413. We had overhead sign repair that was happening, and construction. There was a crane stuck in part of the road at one point. Now they have both directions northbound and southbound blocked getting by the scene. Watching some of that, and thats where this chunk is of red here. We see the southbound side of 95 diverting traffic at 413. Northbound, diverting around street road. Alternates here at least you have a few. Of course, you can take state roads at 413 and head up 95 that way. You can also get off before you get to that point on woodhaven. Route 1 is always an alternate, as well. Again, were watching this, and route 13 can also get you by the scene, as well. A few alternates for you. As the morning progresses, well start to see some of the roads getting backed up because theyre diverting traffic. Hopefully this clears soon. I was talking to marcia, an employee at wawa, and i said other do you think everybody goes all out . She said, oh, my gosh, yes. This city it decorated. One bright this city is decorated. One bright star is the star of bethlehem. Its located high on top of south mountain. The star was placed there to remember the moravian founders who named the monument after the biblical city where jesus was born. The 91foottall star has been lit for decades but went dark during world war ii because officials said it made too good of an air raid target. You can see it from pretty much everywhere in bethlehem for sure. It is a wonderful sight. It is. Do you know whats wonderful weve been traveling around, seeing different wawas and not only lots of people coming to get their day started and being greeted by people who enjoy starting their day here, but how wawa gives back to communities in need. Right, bucks county, cameras at 413. Were blocked actually in both directions. This was the construction project and overhead sign repair that kind of was a project that went bad. We have two directions, northbound and southbound on, 95 that are completely blocked to traffic. If youre coming down 95 southbound, theyre going to divert you at had 13. If youre head at 413. If youre heading northbound, youll be diverted at street. You can take route 13, state road here, head to 413, and move up along 95 that way. You can move northbound woodhaven to route 1. Route 1 generally a good alternate. That might be there for a while. A water main break in kensington on east cambria at hartville street. Ill end on the 42 freeway. No problems reported northbound to the walt whitman bridge. Toward philadelphia, a fiveminute trip. Speeds also into the 60s. Back to you. Thank you.
