They were reporting quartermile visibility, now, half a mile. That should help at the airport. Youre find some pockets of fog. Its not as widespread into south jersey and delaware, still time to thicken up a bit. 48 degrees in the suburbs. 50 right now and climbing at the airport. Even though the suns not up, starting to see wind picking up at 9 miles an hour and thats why the fog is starting to ease. 51 degrees in delaware. A few sprinkles a little mist along with the fog but doesnt last. Well get sunshine this afternoon. Look at the springlike temperatures. 60s and low 70s. We could see some records fall later today. Ill take you through it hour by hour and show you how temperatures climb when im back in ten minutes. This is up here because of potholes. Cars off to the side of the road a second ago. They might have cleared out of the way because of that, either way, were seeing slow speed because of potholes up ahead. Watch dangerous spots like that. And watching a crash at upper moreland. Southbound is closed at mill road. And if youre trying to head southbound, traffic is currently being diverted on to mill road ramp northbound and moving you up and down 611 right now. And now to continuing coverage of a fire in old city that left a building in danger of collapsing. Firefighters and inspectors have been on the scene around the clock since the fire on sunday. Nbc10s matt delucia joins us live on the scene with more of the safety concerns there. Matt. Rel, tracy and vai. There are two main priorities. One is making sure the building doesnt fall down. The other priority is what started this fire early sunday morning. Just behind me, at the corner of third and chestnut, its still blocked off. Still cordoned off. You see the heavy construction equipment, theyve been doing street work on the building damaged behind me here. Firefighters and investigators for two days have been at this spot. Its taken its toll on people who live here, work here or booked hotel rooms at the place next door. The city says this spot right here, 239 chestnut, must come down, the community has been coming through in many ways to help the folks in any way possible. One of the residents here is an artist and teacher who lost several cats in the fire. His friends started a fundraiser to help him out. I set the first limit at 5,000. I thought maybe he could get a down payment for an apartment or something. Every hour it was like 1,000 more, 1,000 more. The outpower of support is amazing. Reporter that fundraiser right now is over 30,000. It goes to show you the help that these folks are willing to give to give a helping hand to these folks. And just many seeing him drive by there, having a difficult time. Thats not the only spot, seeing zero visibility in coatesville. And a little visibility in quakertown. Blief believe it or not, thats an improvement. Right now, coatesville starting to see improvement. Blah were seeing is warm air pushing into the area, and that is kwaufcausing things to warm just a bit just enough to get rid of the fog. At 4 00, they had the dense fog and then 5 00, onemile visibility so were seeing visibility. In delaware and south jersey, youre seeing pockets of light fog to start with this morning. The winds are bringing in the warm air. The temperatures are in the 50s in delaware and south jersey but the colder neighborhoods north and west, thats where were seeing the warm air coming in. And 51 degrees in philadelphia. But the sush bs, thats where you still find lots of neighborhoods in the 40s. Spring city is 46 degrees. 45 in bedminster. And in the lehigh valley, its even colder. So, i expect the fog to linger here longer than its going to last in the rest of the area. But, the fog will disappear for everyone and that happens later this morning. Then this afternoon, we get that temperature pop as we get breaks of sunshine. This is the next 12 hours. 70 degrees. Probably a little warmer than that if we get the foggy spots clearing fast enough for the afternoon. So, theres a chance well hit a record today. Warm air is surging up from the southwest.
