A scene here along the east river, 3 teens in trouble in the water one Good Samaritan, one brave cop. Tense moments at the plaza state park along the east river, police and fire sources saying around 7 30. Three teens entering the water appear to be in trouble. Cell phone video from residents in the area capturing the massive response. A male bystander a Good Samaritan jumped into the water to help rescue the teams. I saw two guys in the water, one rescue swimmer trying to go in after them. The teens make it out to safety on their own, but the Good Samaritan is in need help getting out of the water, he was unsuccessful the harbor units from fdny and nypd saved them motes. People making it out safely. Back live the fdny say four of the people were taken to the hospital with just minor injuries. Long in live island. Crews are repairing a busy section of flat bush avenue at awater main break. You can see the street buckled the two and three subway lines were briefly shut down and bus routes were rerouted everything is back to normal right now, no word on what caused the main to break. The crew on delta flight reported seeing a drone around 5 00 this evening as the plane approached the run way it was 1700 feet above the ground when the drone appeared. The hotel used chemicals to kill the bacteria and vargas says it is safe. On thursday Health Officials say cooling towers at Lincoln Hospital and the concourse plaza mall tested positive. There have been 57 cases in the south bronx. They say it contaminates water towers part of cooling systems and spreads through the air. My concern is we dont find the source of this out break. The Council Member who represents parts of the bronx says her phone is ringing off the hook. We are making sure we educate new new yorkers how this is preventable. I would never want my child to something close to pneumonia just from actually going to the hospital.
