Ilana gold joins us with more. Police say they are looking for a suspect named austin stevenson. They tell us he escaped from the 23rd precinct this morning after he was arrested for trespassing. Take a look at his picture. He is 25 years old. Police tell us they arrested him last year on a burglary authorities have been looking for him since 3 00 this morning by 102nd and park and they havent found him. Officers say they had just taken the suspect out of the patrol car. He was in handcuffs and they were walking him up to the building but he got away and ran off. Police say he is not a violent offender, neighbors have a lot of concerns. What are the questions that come up . Why . How . What procedures werent followed . Things of that nature . You wonder how it happened . Exactly. You worry about your safety, you live by this precinct. One block away. I do worry about my safety. It could be somebody more dangerous and he could be still dangerous. People are especially concerned because this is the third escape this summer. In july, Arthur Collins escaped from a different precinct in east harlem when he was in a holding cell. A month earlier tarek arnold escaped. Both of the suspects were captured. The victim was taken to bellevue and is expected to be okay. Crews from the National Transportation safety board are trying to determine what caused a deadly plane crash in west caldwell, new jersey. Shortly after taking off from the Essex County Airport yesterday morning the pilot of the single engine cessna told the control tower he was unable to maintain power. The new jersey man was trying to make it back to the runway but took a nosedive in the woods. As soon as it hit the ground it exploded then two more after that. The second you saw the explosion you knew what happened . No way anyone walks away from that. Police say the pilot and Flight Instructor was the only one on board. No one on the ground was hurt. Update on the legionnaires in the bronx, City Health Department added several more confirmed cases of people with the disease bringing the total to 124. But there have been no new confirmed cases since august 3rd. 94 of these people have been treated and released from the hospital. 12 have died. The Health Department says all the people that died were adults with preexisting medical conditions. Police are desperately trying to identify this woman. They are asking for help.
