The company explains that SureShot will reduce labor costs, save time, improve the health of the cows, and increase production. Those may all be bold statements to make for a product that’s not on the market yet, but it makes sense. According to Pharm Robotics, research shows that farmers can expect a savings of $285 per cow every year by using the new robot. The money’s broken down into $85/cow when it comes to labor because you won’t need anyone to administer shots. Plus, $200 in savings from improved pregnancy rates, which also brings higher milk production for the herd.
