The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not willing to join any activity organized by the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa "until she realizes that she's a Ghanaian and not an NPP member". This is according to a member of the party's Communication team, Richard Manoribe. The NDC it may be recalled boycotted an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting to review the 2020 general elections. "The party took this decision because of the lack of candor, odious duplicity, and open bias that was displayed by the Jean Mensa-led Electoral Commission in favour of the New Patriotic Party in the conduct of the 2020 general elections," a statement issued by the General Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah indicated.
