It’s a trend that has been in the making for years, but was turned into a necessity due to the pandemic, and it’s not likely to go away. Once the pandemic subsides and activity returns to something closer to normal, the reality is it will be a new normal, to use a severely overused – but appropriate – term. The majority of companies have already indicated they will be incorporating permanent work from home arrangements into their workforce strategies, at least in some capacity. That means all the needs businesses have experienced this year to support their remote workers will remain.
