The ARC Network is excited to begin our series hosting members of the 2020-2021 Virtual Visiting Scholars (VVS) cohort to present on their VVS projects and discuss the implications of their findings!
Join us as we welcome Dr. Joya Misra to present her work focusing on impacts of intersectional identity on and inclusion in decision-making and leadership with additional emphasis on retention and career advancement of faculty. Scroll down to learn more about our speaker or visit equityinstem.org/misra.
The VVS program annually supports 2-4 selected scholars to complete metasyntheses and meta-analyses of existing literature on topics relevant to equity in STEM.
Please note that the ARC Network will be implementing new security measures to ensure a safe experience for our attendees. We ask your patience as there may be additional steps to joining our webinars.
Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) ADVANCE Program, Awards HRD-2121468 and HRD-1740860, the ARC Network seeks to achieve gender equity for faculty in higher education science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. As the STEM equity brain trust, the ARC Network recognizes the achievements made so far while producing new perspectives, methods and interventions with an intersectional, intentional and inclusive lens. WEPAN serves as the backbone organization of the ARC Network. Learn more about ARC Network and WEPAN at equityinstem.org and WEPAN.org!
