TSX Venture-listed Sierra Madre Developments (TSXV: SMG.H) has entered into an amalgamation agreement to acquire B.C.-incorporated and privately held Goldshore Resources. Separately, Goldshore has entered into an asset purchase agreement with gold producer Wesdome Gold Mines (TSX: WDO), to acquire the 143-sq.-km Moss Lake gold project, 100 km west of Thunder Bay, for an estimated total consideration of about $57 million. After Goldshore completes the reverse takeover of Sierra Madre, the combined company plans to change its name to Goldshore Resources and list on the TSX Venture under the ticker GSHR as a new Canadian gold developer.
