Print Westfall Technik Inc. is moving tooling operations from a plant in Corona, Calif. to another in Walnut, Calif. affecting 28 employees. The company submitted a WARN notice to California's Employment Development Department on July 20. All 28 employees affected have the opportunity to accept positions at the Walnut site, Mark Gomulka, chief operating officer, told Plastics News. The WARN notice goes into effect Aug. 31. The Walnut site is "a much bigger facility," Gomulka said. "It's just good for everybody." Westfall Technik could not provide further details on the move to Plastics News.
