Westminster’s Foster Art Gallery features students’ socially-distanced creations Share on: Posted on Thursday, April 15, 2021 Westminster College’s Foster Art Gallery is featuring a student art exhibition “Unforeseen Circumstances: Art-making at a Distance” throughout the month of April. The exhibition features student artwork from spring and fall art courses. The works displayed in the exhibition include drawings, ceramics, sculpture, embroidery and paintings. The exhibition title was chosen to highlight the impact COVID-19 has had on the students’ artwork, said Summer Zickefoose, assistant professor of art and gallery director. Students who have art courses throughout the 2020-2021 academic year have worked within a range of hybrid course formats, all requiring socially-distanced practices within the studio.
