Westmont Volleyball Completes 3-Match Sweep at Season-Opening Tournament

“That was the best match we had all weekend,” McGolpin said. “Life Pacific definitely pushed us in every aspect.”
Lexi Malone had 10 kills out of the middle and Patty Kerman added eight kills on the outside. Sydny Dunn and Malia Yim ran  the offense and delivered 20 and 16 assists, respectively. Kaylee Ivie led the team in blocks with five.
“Our blocking was pretty good,” McGolpin said. “We definitely did a good job with our defense, but again the leadership of the senior class was absolutely superb.”
The three matches at the tournament completes the nonconference part of the Warriors' schedule. Their next match will be the Golden State Athletic Conference opener, Feb. 16 against Vanguard.
