Weymouth's North Quay council office development - survey deadline

WEYMOUTH residents are being urged to share their views on two major new developments before it is too late.
As reported, Dorset Council has revealed proposals for the former borough council offices at North Quay to be demolished to make way for a luxury 72-home complex.
Meanwhile a proposal has also been unveiled for around 59 flats to be built at the site of the former bowling alley in Weymouth town centre.
What's being proposed?
The plans would see a total of around 131 new homes being built across the two brownfield sites. There would be no affordable housing at the luxury North Quay complex but the council is planning for affordable homes to be built at the bowling alley site.
