Because of the convenience of the internet, first-hand access to “real” facts has become harder. This is where media literacy and critical thinking come in. To help people become better media consumers as well as practitioners to be more efficient reporters and content creators, the University of Santo Thomas (UST) Angelicum has organized an online session about the role of the Dominican virtue “veritas (truth),” in our society and its relationship with the various aspects of media.
