What it's like to have a sleepover with sea monsters at Auckland Museum

The campfire and roasting marshmallows was our favourite, although the fire wasn’t real, of course.
Parents and caregivers have a tendency to walk off, so children need to keep a close eye on them.
There is no eating or drinking allowed in the museum’s galleries. The animals in the exhibitions do not need feeding, but the guides will let attendees know when and where eating is allowed.
Absolutely no running is allowed as it could be dangerous. Also, inside voices only – you don’t to wake up the sea monsters.
