- ADVERTISEMENT - The previous time slots ran from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, but now the city will hold open the walk-up line until 5 p.m. on weekdays and offer walk-up vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The changes will apply to people who walk or drive up to the Convention Center. Vaccinations are available to residents 16 and older with the city recently expanding access at Long Beach sites to Signal Hill residents. As of Tuesday the city had administered nearly 290,000 vaccine doses. “We continue to see tremendous growth in our vaccination numbers,” Mayor Robert Garcia said in a statement. “By increasing non-appointment availability options and making it even easier to receive vaccine, we hope to see those numbers go up even more.”
