WINDSOR â Schools will be operating under distance learning beginning next week with a plan to return to the buildings by the end of January, school board Chairman Leonard Lockhart said. School officials will monitor virus trends between Christmas and the New Year before finalizing the decision, Lockhart said. There will be no classes on Christmas Eve or Christmas. The school system has been using a hybrid method since coming back in September. Half the students come in on Monday and Tuesday while the other half attend on Thursday and Friday. Wednesdays are distance learning days for all while the schools are cleaned.
