The Greek Fest Express is back in Winston-Salem to bring guests their favorite Greek meals to-go.This is the second year the festival has had to take place on a drive-thru basis with a focus on food due to the pandemic. The Greek Festival is traditionally a celebration of Greek culture, with food, music, dancing and live bands."It was really more of a weekend experience," Greek Fest Express organizer Stephen Karagiorgis says. "However, as we all know, COVID has changed a lot of things in our lives, so we've decided to modify it the best we can to still provide to the community and we're looking forward to 2022 to come back and doing the festival like we used to."Drivers are already lining up to snag their favorite meals and pastries at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church near Country Club Road. It's open from May 13 to May 16 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
