Published on 12/30/2020 under News The Raptor Education Group in Antigo takes in rescue birds of all shapes and sizes, and earlier this week they admitted several pelicans to their flock. Over the years we've shared numerous stories, often involving loons, rescued by Kevin and Linda Grenzer. This week the Tomahawk duo traveled to the Oshkosh area to bring in two white pelicans on Lake Winnebago. According to REGI, both pelicans had wing injuries that they typically associate with having flown into power lines. They were brought in with critically low weights are were initially tube fed before getting a few minnows.
