A woman has lost part of her vision after being clawed by a cat despite not owning one or having any recollection of coming into contact with a feline. The 55-year-old from New Zealand went to a local ophthalmologist after experiencing blurry vision and pain in her right eye for a week. 'An ocular examination revealed severe vision loss (she could only count fingers), a relative afferent pupillary defect, and reduced colour vision in the right eye,' researchers from the University of Auckland School of Medicine wrote.
