Woman may lose leg after being pinned between building and van during assault Updated Apr 20, 2021; Facebook Share SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw woman may lose a leg following a violent dispute at a liquor store. The afternoon of Monday, April 19, two women were at the Blue Diamond at 1313 Cumberland St. on Saginaw’s East Side. The women, who were already known to each other, began arguing over a man, Saginaw Police Detective Sgt. Matthew Gerow said. One of the women, an 18-year-old Saginaw resident, stepped out of the store and entered her van in the parking lot. She waited for the other woman to exit the store, then put her van in gear and rammed it into the other woman, Gerow said.
