Wool growers to vote on merger of two cooperatives to form a more lucrative consumer goods business


Carrfields would manufacture wool and hemp products through its majority ownership of NZ Natural Fibres.
The merger proposal was the result of year-long talks between Carrfields, Primary Wool Cooperative and Wools of New Zealand, which collectively held 37 per cent of the country’s wool clip, Wools of New Zealand chairman James Parsons said.
