World Health Day observed across State
Along with the rest of the world, the World Health Day (WHD) was observed in the Health Institutions of Assam with various health activities.

GUWAHATI: Along with the rest of the world, the World Health Day (WHD) was observed in the Health Institutions of Assam with various health activities. The WHD was observed in the National Health Mission, Assam HQ through a video conference with the district health officials. The meeting started with a welcome address by MD, NHM Dr.Lakshmanan S where he appreciated all the health officials for the sincere and selfless effort carried out during the COVID pandemic. Mentioning this year's theme 'Building Fairer and Healthier World for everyone and everywhere' he focused on providing equitable healthcare services along with quality healthcare at minimum financial cost.
