Adam is back with accuweather and its a pretty nice day out there today an great week ahead. Yeah, the temperatures are going to drop, the humidity is going to drop so theres a nice change thats going to arrive late tonight but a few of us have to get through couple downpours and thunderstorms first. As we look at double scan live radar around the region right now, to the northwest you can see some of those scattered downpours west of lancaster but at this point in our viewing area no one seeing any rainfall. You got to go north of the poconos near pottsville and harrisburg but eventually this line will close through slowly during the early evening and overnight hours. So, temperatures, theyre beautiful at the shore. Weve got that wind coming in off of the water which is very warm at 78 degrees right now and thats keeping temperatures in the lower 80s. Presently and then as you head inland away from that sea breeze the numbers go up a little bit. 85 in millville, 86 in wilmington, 87 in philadelphia. And in the Lehigh Valley 84 degrees. So far today in the city of philadelphia weve hit 88 degrees and this is coming off of a very hot august in philadelphia. Temperatures so far this month running close to two and a half degrees above normal and weve had plenty of 90degree days in the city of city of philadelphia but other cities not as much. Wilmington only 11 so far this year of 90 degrees or above. Allentown a dozen. In Atlantic City 16. Trenton up there near philadelphia of 20 degrees 20 days of 90 degrees or above and in philadelphia, 28 days which is one above the normal for the entire year for the city of philadelphia, so this is going to go down as a little hotter than normal in philadelphia for the summer season. As we look at a cold front from the west you can see not a lot of action with this. Very broken showers and thunderstorms with it so as we go through the overnight hours its month mostly cloudy, very muggy, 64 to 70. Just a few us will hit by a downpour, shower or quick thunderstorm. Then that front moves along on to us. Itit dries out. Humidity drops. Large low pressure over the great lakes will sit here much of the week bringing clouds and below normal temperatures for the great lakes but for us, were in for a beautiful stretch because well be basically sandwiched between that front moving away and a troth to the west thats stuck there so we see sunshine midweek on wednesday and normal temperatures at 84 degrees and on the flip side as well is that beautiful stretch the dewpoints are going to drop into the 50s tomorrow, stay there through the week, maybe even 40s on friday and then bumping back up into the upper 50s on saturday but that is on the pleasant scale here so well get rid of that humidity tuesday and beyond. The exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, it is warm but its less humid here tomorrow with a few leftover clouds in the morning east of philadelphia. Then its sunny, nice, beautiful, pleasant here wednesday, thursday, friday with high temperatures in the low 80s. It starts to warm back up on saturday of 88 degrees and then on the verge to near 90 again sunday into monday with that humidity going back up but really other than a few scattered downpours tonight early tomorrow morning, zero for chance of rain the rest of the week and right now looks like into the upcoming weekend, guys.
