It doesnt feel like october at all and still looks like summer. Head over to the action center, sky 6 hd looking at camden and lots of clouds and breezy and notice the leaves are green but a lot of people looking forward to the fall foliage. I have to be honest though the setup is not ideal. Fall so far has been dry and its been warm. You kind of want the opposite if you want really vivid colors, the fall leaf outlook should stall the foliage. Some of the trees actually started to turn and now any early color is turning brown and since we have not had much rain the leaves are a little bit stressed and the color is likely dull and if the dry trend continues any leaves that turn will be falling pretty quickly. That is the bad news, the good news is, some areas are starting to peak and we have high color in parts of the adirondacks and Northern Areas of new england and as far as here its low but we are seeing a moderate color starting in the poconos. It looks like two weeks the poconos will be peaking not the best foliage season but some color. It feels like summer, 80 in philadelphia and 81 last hour, that is 11 degrees above normal. Trenton 80 and millville also 80 and cape may cooler and mild though. 75 allentown 79 and poconos 69. Satellite and radar showing we started the day with sunshine and the slow moving frontal boundary got close enough to send the clouds our way and central pennsylvania an area of of showers and a lot of them will break up and some survive the trip over the mountains and that means a few evening showers mostly to the north and mostly cloudy and winds from the southwest a very mild night. 58 in the suburbs and 66 for center city and normal low for this time of year for philadelphia is 52. Well above normal. Future tracker 6 timing it out 8 00 we have showers and most of them are to the north, parts of berks county and the Lehigh Valley and the poconos and elsewhere a lot of clouds, if you live in south jersey you have the best view of the harvest moon tonight and it rises shortly after sunrise and it should be nice and bright and orange at first, but elsewhere we have a lot of clouds. Tomorrow morning at 10 30, clouds breaking for sunshine and its warm and temperatures rising up to the low 80s. The fiveday at 5 00, the warmth continues into the weekend and tomorrows high in the low 80s a mixture of clouds and sunshine and 82.
