Well, local and federal agents raided two urgent care facilities today, one doctor appears to be at the center of this major investigation. The dea and fbi converged other facilities this morning, one in northeast philadelphia on roosevelt boulevard. The other on the eastern road in willow grove. Both are owned by dr. Mehdi nikparvar and according to Business Records hes now in federal custody. Officials did not give reason for the raids but neighbors told action news they have seen plenty of unusual activity. Ive just seen lines of people in the morning waiting for the office to open. My concern was that they were selling drugs out of the facility. Because typically you dont see a Doctors Office have lines of people before theyre opening. Both facilities operate under the name advanced urgent care. Some locations of the franchise were raided in 2015 because they were suspected of illegally selling prescriptions. Officials trying to figure out what sparked a house fire in north philadelphia. The action cam was on the scene near north sixth street and west cambria street. Officials say the blaze broke out just after 2 00 a. M. Took firefighters about 30 minutes or so to get the flames under control. Fortunately no one was hurt. Officials in bucks county are looking to speak with anyone in these photos after a port a potty was vandalized. Happened back in june in pendel bucks county. Police say they were alerted to a potential fire and upon further investigation it was determined a fire work was set off inside of the portable toilet. No reports of any injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call pendel police. Attorney general Jeff Sessions was in philadelphia today speaking to Police Leaders from across the country. Sessions designated the street gang known as ms13 a federal priority and urged local Law Enforcement to step up efforts against the brutal Central American gang. He made the remarks in front of the International Association of chiefs of Police Annual conference. Ivanka trump spent the afternoon in bucks county to push the president s tax reform plan. After the Senate Narrowly Passed the gop Budget Proposal last week, the president s daughter and president ial adviser ivanka trump along with u. S. Treasurer carranza showed up in richboro bucks county today to drum up support for the plan now being considered by the house. A plan that ivanka refers to as a jobs bill. Theres many elements of this tax plan that i think are squarely targeted at creating jobs in this country, creating growth in this country and offering relief to our middle income families. Reporter the proposal among other things would slash income and Corporate Tax rates with the expectation of stimulating the economy and broadening the tax base with the creation of new jobs and businesses. But economists project that the plan would also add 7 trillion of debt over the next 10 years and that, they say, would slow growth in the long run. There were many Small Business owners on hand for todays event many of whom say theyll accept any tax break they can get. Were struggling to provide benefits for our employees. Were trying to pay down our debts and when you do have a little bit of profit, instead of being able to pay the debt down you end up paying it in taxes. Reporter meanwhile a few dozen protesters gathered outside saying this was not what they wanted to hear from the first daughter. In other news federal Officials Say they have foiled an alleged terror plot that targeted a mall in miami and the bust was all thanks to an undercover operation. Abcs maggie rulli has been following the story. This suspect planned to use a weapon of mass destruction in the food court intentionally targeting as many shoppers as possible. Those intentions were thwarted by those undercover agents. An alleged bomber in federal court today for the first time. The miami area man caught in an undercover sting Operation First reported in the miami her rallied. 53yearold Vincent Solano was accused of plan to blow up a huge Shopping Center with what authorities are calling a weapon of mass destruction. The target dolphin marring. Police say solano appears to have been inspired by isis and was trying to impress the terror group. Abcs senior justice correspondent Pierre Thomas says the problem is bigger than solano. The suspect is more than 130 americans charged in recent years with either trying to join isis or plotting attacks here at home. Reporter the fbi is actively battling isis radicalization on u. S. Soil and has used a similar sting strout gee in southern florida before. Police say solano began talking with someone he believed was a like minded radical online eventually getting his hands on what he thought was an active bomb but really that bomb, a fake planted by undercover agents and the radical online an informant who contacted the joint Terrorism Task force reporting his planned attack. Coming eastbound you might want to use 30 lancaster avenue instead. Had a crash in king of prussia along the chilis along south gulf at 202. Thats cleared. But volume has not cleared out along the schuylkill eastbound as well as the blue route southbound and 95 both directions.
