Well pop it out so you can get a better look as to what we are tracking. You can see that snow in south jersey. Well go in a little tighter on street level with Storm Tracker6. It is starting to fill in across extreme sections of south jersey there in cape may. It will continue to fill in for fortescue Sea Isle City and eventually this will move on in from a southeast to northwest direction as we go throughout the rest of tonight and throughout the day tomorrow. As far as the temperatures, weve got some cold air in place. Its 38 degrees in philadelphia. In cape may where were dealing with light snow 38 there. Below freezing in the poconos, 26. 34 for allentown and reading. 35 degrees out to the west in lancaster. Also down in dover. Heres satellite6 along with action radar. We are tracking this elongated system here through the midatlantic region back through the southeast and even the Southern Plains but you look offshore you could see that frontal boundary that moved through our area earlier this week. It has moved offshore and this is the front that we will track because an area of low pressure forms right along that front and that will help to enhance the snowfall across the midatlantic region. So well time it out for you. Future tracker6 showing 11 oclock tonight weve got some light snow starting to fill in in south jersey and also in delaware. It continues by 7 oclock in the morning by day break, that snow approaching the i95 corridor, also for areas to the south and east. As we go throughout the afternoon hours, 1 oclock, the snow for most locations but you notice down across extreme sections of south jersey were noticing a mixing line. That will put a cap on some of the snow totals we see across extreme coastal section of new jersey. By 5 oclock that snow is starting to taper and by 10 30 tomorrow night weve got leftover showers and some flurries overhead. So, as far as expected snowfalls we tweaked this map just a little bit. One to 2 inches for the poconos down to allentown reading and lancaster. As it will be snowing for a good portion of the day tomorrow.
