Reporter the shooting victim is identified as Jason Ortiz Cameron and Authorities Say its a drug related homicide in the sense that the victim and others were planning to rob someone that was coming here and thought they would buy marijuana. These stepsisters among dozens of students that met with counselors today at the Phoenixville High School trying to come to grip with classmates sudden violence death last night. A blaze at an abandoned church in the kensington section of philadelphia promised evacuations and it broke out at 1 00 in the 700 block of east cornwell street. The man shot by philadelphia last night has died and investigators say he was driving a car connected to a murder and was not the suspect in the crime. The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. The male was not at this point, associated with the homicide and there was month weapon recovered from the male on the highway or in the vehicle. Homicide detectives are working to see how the man killed was connected to the Vehicle Police say a female passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries. The officerinvolved shooting Investigation Unit is handling the case. Police stress its still early in the investigation, the officer who was hit by the vehicle is treated and released from the hospital and today Police Officers are not releasing his name and they are not releasing the name of the office who fired his weapon.
