They boast nearly 5 million square feet in the mall of america and you can also imagine and respect why they call it the mall of america it is now the hub of activity for fans who are coming and also where the media is working from in this week aaduper bowl. Speaking of Tourist Attractions they know this one will be usurped by another tourist attraction that comes on sunday night, the big showdown when the eagles take on the patriots. Were all just ready and waiting and willing for that moment to happen. The eagles would would not have that. Even though it ended in a way in minnesota didnt want, the vikings team owner had some pretty nice words today. Theres a coastal low bringing some rain across parts of south jersey, philadelphia looks like its raining, thats actually evaporating before it hits ground, thats verga. Theres a surface trough moving in tomorrow. They stay separate but both bring a brush of snow. Future tracker showing this low pressure will brush the coastal area, first rain, Early Morning snow. That moves out pretty early tomorrow and the surface trough moves in during the day tomorrow with intermittent light snow. Its not going to be a major system but it could cause some problems and tomorrow night temperatures dropping well down into the teens and 20s. So tomorrow night there could be icing on untreated surfaces. Tomorrow is an accuweather alert day thanks to these brushes of snow. That coastal low tonight will bring rain changing over to snow along the coast. Some areas could get a coating to an inch of snow there. That surface trough moves through tomorrow. Thats more widespread intermittent light snow, a coating to 2inches really depends on where you are. Authorities are investigating a drive by shooting outside of a popular city avenue hotel tonight. Action News Reporter bob brooks is live in Wynnefield Heights with the very latest. Bob. Reporter hey, rick, yeah, this is a a very dangerous and unfortunate situation that happened. It all went down at the hilton hotel behind me on city avenue and stout road. The hotel staff and administration are working very closely with the police to try and figure out what and who did this. It was early yesterday evening right around 8 30. Police say the hilton hotel at the corner of city avenue and stout road was fired at. Detectives say it appears that a car parked in the hotel carport was shot at in a driveby style shooting. Philadelphia Police Lieutenant john walker on the shoot car comes up down south and starts shooting at the person thats in that car. Reporter left neighbors like scott field stunned. City avenue shooting in the street like the. Reporter like the wild west. Thats crazy, man, thats crazy. Things are getting out of hand around here. Reporter dallas dunston says he heard it happen. I just heard them shooting shots and i was like wow, they do that around is city line avenue so. Reporter take a look at this. Detectives say one of the estimated seven bullets fired ricocheted off the steps and into one of the hotels glass doors. Police say t the bullet stopped then it becameem. Fortunately the window didt. Bullets have no names and its concern when people fire guns. Reporter lieutenant walker says the suspect vehicle continuedown stout road. He add the vecle that was shot at took off. Authorities now need your help tracking the suspects down. It happened at mikes Service Center in the 8900 block of ridge avenue. One of the suspects pulled out a tek nine semi automatic handgun while the other tried to grab money from the register right there. Now when the employee tried to run away he was beaten and kicked. Now theres a fire truck and an ambulance on the scene so two lanes bloc blocked, only one lane gets by coming out of center city on the westbound side of 76, the schuylkill expressway, which as you can imagine does not do good things to the traffic. Were jammed as you come west of University Avenue so coming out of the city this afternoon, i would use the river drives, even lancaster avenue, the westbound side of 76 right there is not where you want to be. Had a crash earlier on 95 in south philadelphia. Northbound side approaching the walt whitman bridge. Thats now all off to the side but speeds are still around 11 Miles Per Hour as you come north of the airport. The platt bridge is busy but would be better or think about using the passyunk avenue drawbridge as another alternate to the girard point. Haddon heights crash on 295 southbound approaching 168 off to the side. Still slow coming down from 73. Patco resumed service, trains not running as frequently as normal but they are running every 20 minutes this afternoon and making all stops.
