New details about a pedestrian who was struck and killed at the intersection of Rockville Pike and Church Street in rockville. Now, Officials Say the driver of a 2017 nissan arm mad today struck a man as he was crossing the street. That victim later died at the hospital. Authorities are investigating. Also developing overnight, take a look at this scene from Anne Arrundel county. Police say a driver plowed th this happened on eagle wood road in annapolis just before midnight. Two people were taken to the hospital with lifethreatening injuries. Its unclear at this time if the driver was among those hospitalized. When our crew arrived on scene, the building had already been boarded up. D. C. Police on the hunt for a group of bold thieves wanted in connection with a string of burglaries that happened across the d. C. Area. Then as we mentioned the Verizon Store across the street two days earlier, it was 9 25 in the morning on a monday. Theyre making off with boxes of stolen goods there. Im told iphones. The string started here on december 1st. 9 19 in the morning at a sprint store on benning road. Youre not going to believe this picture coming up. This is a safe that is full of iphones. Theyre shoving them into trash cans and walking out of the store. No one hurt. December 3rd, 11 48 another mobile phone store. They tell everyone to get down, 1300 block of pennsylvania avenue again making off with trash cans full of loot. On december 5th, 4 55 in the morning a Clothing Store on h street. Now, this is where Police Notice the suspects were driving a stolen church van that was taken from garfield heights. That van has since been recovered. Now, police were able to isolate and enlarge individual images of the suspects so you can see here a little bit closer look at their faces though in some cases they were Wearing Masks or hats, police do believe that people who know these individuals may be able to identify them so they certainly are asking folks to take a look at these videos. We have so many problems on the roads, guys, trying to figure out whats the most important. Take a look at the beltway. We have an inner loop crash and an outer loop crash. Skyfox over the inner loop. This is before the riggs road overpass there. Two left lanes blocked with a crash involving a tractortrailer and several other vehicles. This is causing delays well past New Hampshire avenue as you try to get to 95. Sole, big problems in college park this morning. Outer loop were getting reports of a crash closer to colesville road so caution there. Well switch it over from skyfox and go ahead and take a look at our maps this morning. Wanted to show you a look right now. This is the delay on 395 southbound from the third street tunnel to the pentagon, 14 minute trip there. A lot of heavy volume. Lets go ahead and take a live look outside. That is because of this tractortrailer crash. It was previously overturned out by clark street and as you can see, its a milk truck. They got it turned upright. Looks like they have a little bit of debris to clear off the road there. Its blocking two left lanes. 395 southbound. So again traffic is backed up past as you come off the 11th Street Bridge onto 695 through the navy yard youll hit big delays trying to get south to the pentagon on 395. So, keep that in mind. You can always keep it to your secondaries like pennsylvania avenue or independence avenue to get around some of those bigger delays. Want to take it back to our maps because this is unfortunately not the only other problem were dealing with. Already that delay creeped back up to 17 minutes from the third street tunnel to the pentagon. As we take a look there, you can see that backing up 295 southbound towards pennsylvania avenue. Pennsylvania avenue has a lot of bailout traffic and 295 northbound delays are spilling onto that from the beltway on through as you too it try to get onto the 11th Street Bridge. That area dealing with a ton of extra congestion. Northbound 395 typical delays. 95 northbound in dale city at Prince William parkway crash blocks the Left Shoulder part of the left lane and if youre taking metro this morning, expect delays to shady grove. Theres a signal problem this morning on the red line outside van ness. Red line is going to shut down a segment this weekend. Well keep you updated on that. Theyll have thursday morning. Back to you. We have another outer loop crash closer to colesville road. Its just in the distance beyond the colesville road overpass and were actually this is the outer loop side of things so its not as heavy. 38 minute trip 95 to the 270 spur. Brake lights thats the inner loop. Right now the inner loop is backing up basically from the 270 spur all the way to 95 with that crash and again, the outer loop heavy as well with a crash by colesville road lets see if we can take a live look outside at that tractortrailer. This was again carrying milk. It was overturned. This is 395 southbound by clark street. The right lanes are getting by. Left lanes blocked and it looks like theyre making some progress cleaning up. New this morning, a shocking report involving one of marylands most prominent hospitals. Former supervisor at Johns Hopkins health now accusing the medical system of prioritizing out of state patients over maryland residents. The lawsuit was filed yesterday. It claims hopkins favored out of state patients over locals to increase revenue. Now Late Wednesday night, Johns Hopkins released a statement saying that the complaint is without merit. A lot of attention on one of the president s top advisers and former contestant Omarosa Manigault newman following her abrupt resignation from the white house. She, omarosa was Communications Director for the office of public liaison, was one of the top africanamerican advisers to the president , had access to the oval office pretty much at will before over as chief of staff.
