Were told one of them was flown with serious injuries and that person remains in the hospital. Were also told the suspect got out of the pickup truck after the crash, he ran on foot into the woods here and the police finally got him. He is in the hospital this morning with serious condition in serious condition facing multiple charges. Were also told in the misses mt of all of this that an officer was also injured but expected to be okay. As of this morning you have two people in the hospital, still no word on the condition of the child and the circumstances surrounding that assault incident. The owner of a pizza shop on chopper road says two suspects pulled a gun and then robbed him. They then took off and the officers gave chase leading them downer state 270 ending way crash in mclean, virginia. No one was hurt. The owner says chasing the suspects was purely instinct. I dont know if something just kicked in me like follow them, you know, cause they tried to come harm my business, my employees and i take everybody that works here as family. After making it into virginia officers were able to get the suspects car to crash along the gw parkway near route 123 in mclean. We continue to follow the story of two Loudoun County sheriffs deputies shot while responding to a domestic dispute on christmas eve. Both deputies remain in the hospital. Theyre being treated for serious but nonlifethreatening injuries. The suspect identified as 38yearold Douglas Johnson is held in custody without bond. Hes charged with two counts of attempted capitol murder. Police have made a third arrest in connection with the shooting death of 17yearold jamar resid nor. 18yearold James Mayfield was arrested and charged wednesday with first degree murder.
