The car now charred and hallowed out, but the woman who sent us this cellphone video of those flames says that shes here visiting family and she was inside with her children and grandchildren just before seven 30 tonight when this happened. It sowned like big gunshots, and then a big explosion. We all hit the floor for a moment, then my son ventured out and there was a car in the alley sploading. But it recognized from the neighborhood no, not at all. The car appeared to be a later model lexus. Again no de tails yet from police as to the identity of the person found dead inside of it. Now, there were some concerns from antibody ofers that neighbors inside of the fire hydrants was frozen. They didnt really use water. They just sort of waited and watch for the flames to burn out themselves and residents were concerned that the fire high drants may not be working properly. But we did check with d. C. Investigators are actively look ing to develop suspects and a motive in reference to this incident.
