Yeah, right now, lucy and iain the worst of the system is down the shore. Still looking at very heavy rain as well as gusty winds. The rain came down in buckets across our area. Take look at the satellite radar that nasty line of showers and thunderstorms kind of plowed through the area with gusty winds in excess of 60 miles per hour. Were in the clear right now around the philadelphia area but once again some of that heavier rain continues at this hour down around the barnegat area, Atlantic City and then pushing off of cape may the heaviest of the rain. However, right behind that system, we still have a flood concern around the philadelphia area. Well talk about that in a moment but as we move down the shore you can see around cape may also, lewes Rehoboth Beach still looking at very heavy rain and perhaps a little bit of hail out of that system, and then you can see were drying out behind this and tomorrow looks much improved but take a look. We still have that Flash Flood Warning until 12 45. That includes philadelphia, toward the Cherry Hill Mall area moving toward Willingboro Pemberton and sections of Burlington County. How much rain did we see . We saw a little over 2inches right around the heart of the area. So flash flood concern continues out there with ponding on the roadways and some of the damage reports coming in across the area some ease trees down in sections of Chester County, also, north and west of philadelphia. They gave me a shot and gave me liquid medicine, and then at the end they put a special ointment on it. 11yearold glenn spears is recovering from traumatic experience this picture taken at the hospital is too bad to show in detail. When he says the boy walked by holding hand sanitizer. One of the kids asked for some and he sprayed it on them and held a lighter to glenns body. He told me not to tell nobody. Reporter glenn ran home and tried to hide it from his mother who quickly noticed something was wrong. She says his skin was bubbling up when she rushed him to the hospital. I dont understand it. Seven murders across new jersey and pennsylvania and prosecutors say one fan played in roll in all of them. They charged 22yearold todd west and two others for randomly killing a couple in allentown and another man in easton over the weekend. Prosecutors say west crime spree started long before that accusing him of also begunking down three others in union county, new jersey, about two weeks earlier. Theres only one person that were looking at for anything and hes in custody. Reporter today upper darby officials announcing the arrest of this man 54yearold james morris. They say morris was on the second floor of this pay less building on 69th street when it went up in flames on monday night. Morris at this point in time is chargeed with criminal trespass and theft. Reporter police say morris and several other Homeless People were living in the rear of the second floor undetected for some time. Investigators say morris was scrapping metal shelfing stealing it and giving it to this man with the cart in exchange for booze. They are not identifying him because they say he is a key witness against james morris. He was inside when the fire started. Allegedly this scrap per said to him, hey, the building is on fire . Ah, dont worry about it and he walked away. Reporter fire investigators dont believe the four alarm fire was deliberately set but they have uncovered evidence that something was not right in the area where the fire began. There are some signs that possibly there was electric up there and were trying to determine whether it was there or it was tied in at one point and not tied in properly. Shes the one who had her third grade class write get well letters to convicted cop killer. Former orange teacher marilyn wants her job back claiming the school board violated state law by firing her in may after discussing the issue in private. She says she requested a public discussion. The letters her class wrote went to Mumia Abu Jamal in prison the former blank pan cher serving a life sentence for the 1981 killing of officer danny faulkner. A hearing for the teacher is set for september. New ads at the Childrens Hospital of philadelphia are turning heads and some are pretty upset about it. The signs are meant to promote children safety. Several people were apparently upset over an ad asking parents to look out for their chirp in traffic, saying thats victim blaming its targeting children and it should be more focused on the drivers. An advocate childrens safety told me, people are allowed to be upset but in this case, controversial or not the ads are just true. I think its interesting that it pick up in social media so quickly and with negative type of connotation. Because like i said its just a fact. Reporter her Organization Kids and cars. Org uses pretty powerful imagery to hammer home their messages as well. She said its because most people just dont understand how big a risk that traffic is to children.
