Developing in trenton, new jersey torque night, two women shot in broad daylight. One of them a 58yearold killed. The other just a teenager. Reporter well, dawn, tonight we dont know the remaining victims condition and were still waiting to learn a motive in the shooting. Trenton police and crime scene investigators remained in the area of eight carver lane late tonight after shots rang out early this afternoon. Police say a 58yearold woman was killed. A 14yearold girl was also shot. Skyfox flew over the area soon after it happened. Im startled. Reporter many neighbors were reluctant to talk on came camera. Coretta Wright Simmons came home to fine the street cordoned off a half a block away from her home. We have Beautiful Homes here and down the street right in the middle theres problem. That is actually being allowed to be a problem. Reporter shooting happened on the area of the block between a senior home and a church. I was coming from my house i was surprised to see the police. Reporter oliver is part of the congregation. We pray for the little girl she survives. Prayers for her to survive. Reporter information on exactly what happened has been limited. Police were still out there more than five hours later. Templets night in delaware, Police Officer is facing charg charges. Authorities say while off duty the New Castle County officer got into a fight with a fiveyear veteran of the force. Prosecutors charged that officer with assault. Police have not released the officers name but say he is on administrative leave with pay while the investigation into just what happened continues. A fourmonth old puppy recovering after surgery after being thrown from a third floor apartment. It is hard to imagine but police say her own are in through the dog in a fist rage. Her 19yearold owner did it in a fit of rage. The floors of the building collapsing into the basement, firefighters had to break in to rescue khloe. The doctor performed the surge surgery. I think in general, dogs will cry out when they get injured right away but then once that theyll try to pretend like theyre not hurt. The grammy Award Winning singer song writer passed away the a his home outside of philadelphia today after suffering a massive heart attack. Police say they have run down more than a thousand leads in connection with the Las Vegas Massacre but still do not have a clear motive.
