The Walleye Drop Committee, which is part of the Wylie Walleye Foundation, already has begun planning for next year’s New Year’s Eve event. This year will mark the 25th anniversary of the Walleye Drop, and the committee is looking for volunteers who will help make it the biggest event ever. “We’re a small group — about 12 people,” said committee vice chair Kristina Willoughby. “The more help we can get, the bigger it can grow.”
