The Xbox’s Narrative Director Dave Morgan revealed on his LinkedIn profile that a major unannounced AAA open-world project is currently in development. Compulsion Games, which was acquired by Xbox Game Studios in 2018, is also reportedly working on a new title. On Linkedin, the studio was looking for a new writer. The job posting stated: “We like to take on troublesome themes. We try to make characters with compelling, human flaws. We mix darkness and comedy. Our games are hard to write.” Finally, according to Windows Central’s Jez Corden in a recent The Xbox Two podcast, Xbox has “at least” two more big games that will be released in 2021. “I know of at least two games, big games, that aren’t on that list that are coming from Xbox in 2021.”
