'Extreme Heat' Alert Set To Expire In Santa Clarita As Temperatures Start To Cool


Staying in cool or air-conditioned locations
Residents who do not have access to air-conditioning are encouraged to take advantage of free public cooling centers, including all Santa Clarita Public Libraries.
In these high temperatures, officials have also highlighted the importance of heatstroke identification and response.
“Call 911 if you see these symptoms: high body temperature, vomiting, and pale and clammy skin,” according to Public Health officials.
