Yankees + Mets to Go Full Capacity If Fans Are Vaccinated You knew it was only going to be a matter of time before we started seeing vaccine segregation, well that time is here. The Yankees and Mets both announced this week that as of May 19, they can increase fan capacity to 100 percent as long as fans are vaccinated against COVID-19. According to connecticut.news12.com, all fans that are vaccinated will be put in a special vaccinated section of the ballpark that can be filled to 100 percent capacity. Fans who have not yet been vaccinated will be put in an unvaccinated separate section that will only be allowed to be filled to 33 percent capacity. That section will also include social distance guidance, so fans will be separated by the six foot protocol.
