Bucks County Courier Times YARDLEY — The Spearhead Group manufactured and donated 20,000 face masks to nearly two dozen local restaurants, first responder units and essential worker groups to help support COVID-19 compliance requirements. The outreach was coordinated by David Appelbaum, president of Experience Yardley. “We have these masks available and if they don’t get in the hands of those who need them most, then we have failed our friends and neighbors. We live in Yardley; we work in Yardley; and we believe in giving back,” said Robert Catalano, co-founder and president of Spearhead. The 22 businesses and public safety organizations that received boxes of masks included Bagel Train; Burritos Restaurant; Canal Street Grille; Captn’ Chucky’s Crab Cake Co.; Commonplace Reader; Continental Tavern; Franco's Tomato Pies; La La Lobster; Landolfi's Cafe & Deli; Pretty Bird Coffee/Kwai Tori Sushi; Red House; Trattoria Rosa Bianca Mil-Lee's Luv-Inn; Vault Brewing Company; Vault Tap Room; Verrelli’s Yardley Pizza; Vince’s Pizza & Restaurant; Yardley Borough Hall; Yardley Borough Police Department; The Yardley General/The Cellar; Yardley Inn Restaurant & Bar; Yardley Makefield Emergency Unit; and Yardley-Makefield Fire Co.
