It comes as wheelchair users and people with children in pushchairs cannot access some of the town's parklets.
A Louth Councillor says she's very frustrated with the local authority over a major outdoor dining initiative being inaccessible for some.
Independent Maeve Yore - who is a disability rights campaigner - raised the issue at the Dundalk Municipal District's monthly meeting.
It heard that the difference between the footpath and road surface is to blame for some of the parklets in the town not being accessible for wheelchair users and people with children in pushchairs.
Senior Engineer Mark Johnston told Councillors that a plate has already been fitted to the parklet in Blackrock and he said he'd raise the issue with the Dundalk BIDS Manager.
