Next boot camp begins with hour-long orientation for both parents on May 22

WORTHINGTON — The Buffalo Ridge Young Marines is now recruiting for its third class. The Young Marines is a nationwide youth organization that instills citizenship, leadership, self-discipline and healthy living among children and teens.
The first day of recruit training is June 12.
Dan Harrington, a computer science teacher at Worthington’s Prairie Elementary, helped form the Buffalo Ridge Young Marines chapter and now serves as its unit commander. He’s joined by executive Officer Gary Stewart, adjutant Caryn Harrington, finance manager Sonia Anderson and trainers John Stewart and Dr. Michael Merren.
