KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is currently undergoing self-quarantine at home following reports that he has tested positive for Covid-19. The Umno president, who is asymptomatic, said he was not experiencing fever, cough, flu or other symptoms associated with Covid-19. “I understand that many are asking about my condition after hearing the unexpected news. Alhamdulillah, I am doing well without any unwanted symptoms. “I am now undergoing quarantine and working as usual online,” he said on Facebook yesterday. This means that Ahmad Zahid – who is the Bagan Datuk MP – will join Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Mansor Othman, who was confirmed positive following a routine swab test last Friday, in sitting out the Parliament special sitting starting today.
